KOTA KINABALU - Setiausaha Kerajaan Negeri Sabah Tan Sri Sukarti Wakiman menjelaskan larangan ke atas Naib Presiden Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) Nurul Izzah Anwar hanya untuk satu acara, iaitu menjelang majlis penutup sambutan Pesta Kaamatan.
Ini dilakukan atas sebab keselamatan berdasarkan laporan-laporan yang telah diterima, katanya dalam kenyataan ringkas di sini hari ini.
Sukarti berkata tidak ada larangan tetap ke atas Nurul Izzah atau mana-mana pemimpin pembangkang untuk datang ke Sabah selagi "mereka tidak menimbulkan ancaman keselamatan".

Tiga pemimpin PAS yang melibatkan Dewan Pemuda melalui ketuanya Nasrudin Hasan, Ketua Dewan Ulama PAS Datuk Harun Taib, Menteri Besar Kelantan Datuk Ahmad Yakob dan juga Timbalan Ketua Dewan Pemuda Pas Nik Mohd Abduh Nik Abdul Aziz yang menolak sekeras-kerasnya hasrat Ketua Umum Pakatan Rakyat untuk menganjurkan perhimpunan tersebut.
Anwar Ibrahim yang giat berusaha untuk menjalankan perhimpunan tersebut dengan tujuan untuk membangkitkan kemarahan dan semangat rakyat Malaysia menentang kerajaan sedia ada dilihat sebagai satu tindakan yang tidak matang. Perhimpunan tersebut nyata boleh menggugat tahap keselamatan negara jika wujudnya kekacauan dan tidak dikawal sebaiknya.
Menyifatkan perkara ni sebagai satu perkara yang gopoh dan tidak mendatangkan faedah kepada mana-mana pihak, Anwar seharusnya lebih peka dan sensitif dengan kehendak umum yang lebih selesa dengan cara yang demokrasi berbanding mengamalkan politik keganasan sebegini.
Namun, sejauh mana Anwar boleh berfikir secara rasional kerana apa yang terlihat, beliau begitu terdesak untuk mendapatkan jawatan dan kuasa tanpa memikirkan kesan dan impaknya yang boleh menggadaikan negara.
PAS sudah menampakkan sudut relevan mereka dalam menilai setiap gerak geri yang ditunjukkan oleh Pakatan Rakyat dan mula menolak perkara yang tidak sesuai untuk diaplikasikan dalam memperjuangkan perjalanan politik mereka.
Apa yang dilaksanakan PKR dan Anwar Ibrahim terutamanya mengundang rasa kurang senang rakyat yang cintakan kedamaian dan keamanan serta ingin melihat perkembangan Malaysia dengan lebih lancar.
Secara logiknya, tidak ada negara yang berjaya membentuk sebuah kerajaan yang sempurna melalui politik keganasan kerana ianya hanya mengundang kepada protes yang berleluasa melibatkan rakyat dan itu adalah satu kerugian besar buat negara.
Golongan muda yang mudah terpengaruh dengan perkara sebegini seharusnya berfikir lebih waras dengan mengambil kira semua aspek dan sudut sebelum mengikut membuta tuli tanpa ada ras tanggungjawab untuk mempertahankan keamanan negara.
Apa yang pasti, ramai rakyat sudah muak dengan cara politik sebegini yang semakin lama semakin melampau. Anwar sudah boleh duduk dan bertafakur menilai segala kesilapan dan kekacauan yang pernah dilakukannya dan mula berfikir dengan lebih rasional.
Sebagai seorang yang beragama Islam dan juga mengangkat diri sebagai seorang pemimpin, Anwar sepatutnya menunjukkan nila-nilai yang baik dan positif bagi meyakinkan pengikutnya.
Dengan menerapkan sentimen keganasan di kalangan penyokongnya hanya akan memberi padah kepada beliau kerana satu hari nanti tidak mustahil golongan yang sama akan menentang beliau menggunakan cara yang sama.
Demi keamanan dan kedamaian sejagat, keganasan politik harus dielakkan sebaliknya bersatulah dengan kesabaran dan keikhlasan dalam perjuangan dan sentiasalah merendah diri agar tidak terduduk jika terjatuh nanti.
Hak Kerajaan Negeri Sabah perlu dihormati dalam usahanya untuk mengekalkan keamanan dan keharmonian di negeri ini, kata Pemangku Presiden Gabungan Persatuan-Persatuan Cina Sabah, Datuk TC Goh.
Rakyat di negeri ini perlu dibenarkan untuk bergerak bebas dalam kehidupan seharian mereka tanpa adanya pihak tertentu yang cuba menggunakan propaganda politik dalam memecah belahkan di kalangan rakyat.
Goh menyokong tindakan kerajaan negeri dan gesaan sama oleh Ketua Menteri, Datuk Seri Musa Haji Aman sebelum ini.
Kerajaan membuat keputusan berdasarkan keperluan untuk mengekalkan keamanan dan keharmonian berpandukan undang-undang seperti yang termaktub dalam pembentukan Malaysia sejak 1963.
Ianya perlu dihormati dan bukan ‘diputar belitkan’ untuk sebab-sebab tertentu.
Sabah adalah sebuah negeri yang terus bersatu padu dan menjadi contoh kepada negeri-negeri lain dalam mewujudkan 1Malaysia yang sebenar.
Perkara ini perlu dilindungi dan dikekalkan dengan apa cara sekali pun dan jika kerajaan negeri percaya tindakannya itu perlu, ianya perlu dihormati kerana mereka telah diberikan mandat oleh rakyat untuk mentadbir negeri ini.
Seperti apa yang diperkatakan oleh Ketua Menteri masih banyak perkara lagi yang perlu dilakukan, negara perlu ditadbir dengan baik, ekonomi negara perlu dikembangkan dan kebajikan rakyat perlu sentiasa diberikan perhatian.
Pilihan raya sudah berlalu dan kita perlu bergerak maju. Rakyat di negeri ini dan negara sudah cukup dengan ‘politiking’ untuk tempoh dua tahun lepas, sejak khabar-khabar angin tentang pilihan raya awal yang semuanya tidak betul.
“Sekarang semuanya sudah berakhir, kita perlu meneruskan usaha kita untuk membangunkan negeri dan kita perlu tunggu pilihan raya akan datang,” kata Goh

Chief Minister Datuk Seri Musa Hj Aman said Sabah's door is always opened to those who wanted to see and embrace its ethnic and cultural diversities as well as participate in the state's festivities.
He said Sabah also welcomed those who respected a civil society, whereby there is law and order to uphold the prevailing peace and harmony.
"However if we have reason to believe that your presence here will pose a threat to these ideals that Sabah has enjoyed all these while, you are not welcomed here," he said in a statement.
Musa said contrary to what was being spread in the social media, the ban on PKR vice-president Nurul Izzah Anwar from entering the state was not politically motivated.
"Other opposition leaders have come and moved freely throughout Sabah especially during the runup to the elections. They spread the same old recipe of lies, deceit and slander to hoodwink the people. We didn't stop them" he said.
"Now that the elections are over, their leader refuses to accept the verdict. It is a case of sour grapes and ungentlemanly conduct. He wants to rile up the masses to rally throughout the country to show his and I repeat his discontent," he said.
"We have reason to believe that Nurul Izzah's intentions to come to Sabah this time round may not be as innocent as she or her fellow opposition members make it out to be," he said.
Musa said Sabah and its people did not need this endless propaganda by the opposition to incite hatred and mistrust among the people against the Barisan Nasional government.
"Enough is enough. We need to move on. The opposition has been politicking for the last 5 years. Are going to get bogged down by more politicking in the next 5? There's work to be done. The country needs to be administrated, the economy needs to grow and the people's welfare taken care of," he said.

Pada 30 Mei lalu, Nurul Izzah yang tiba di Kota Kinabalu dihalang memasuki negeri itu mengikut Akta Imigresen 1959/63 dan dimaklumkan untuk kembali semula ke Semenanjung.
Mengulas lanjut, Musa berkata, larangan yang dikenakan kerajaan negeri itu disebabkan faktor keselamatan, bukan bermotif politik seperti yang digembar-gembur pihak tidak bertanggungjawab menerusi laman sosial.

Explaining the ban on Saturday, Musa was reported saying that those who pose a threat to the Sabah ideals of peace harmony will not be welcomed to the state.

He added that state never restricted other opposition leaders before the polls, but believed Nurul Izzah had different intention this time.

“Now that the elections are over, their leader refuses to accept the verdict. It is a case of sour grapes and ungentlemanly conduct. He wants to rile up the masses to rally throughout the country to show his, and I repeat, his discontent,” he said.

“We have reason to believe that Nurul Izzah’s intentions to come to Sabah, this time around, may not be as innocent as she or her fellow opposition members make it out to be,” he added.
